War is a state of armed and violent conflict between different groups, nations, or ideologies. It often leads to widespread destruction, displacement, and a devastating loss of life. Wars can arise from disputes over territory, resources, political power, or deeply rooted ideological differences.
I chose this theme because I wanted to reflect on the ongoing conflicts around the world, many of which happen while people like myself and others live relatively unaffected. This stark contrast between daily life and the horrors of war deeply resonates with me. I often think about how many of these wars are driven by first-world governments or powerful entities over issues that, in comparison to human life, seem trivial or materialistic.
